Elle Fanning's new perfume ad!

Her elder sister Dakota may have starred in the Marc Jacobs "Oh Lola" advertisements last year, but porcelain beauty, Elle manages to steal the spotlight. She is the brand new face of "Lolita Lemicka" perfumes, starring in the French company's fragrance. But before we go any further, let us stop for a few seconds and contemplate the similarity in the name of the two fragrance's...Coincidental? I think not!

Elle bearing her Tinkerbell-esque looks, has severely wowed her star studded audience with the glitziest perfume campaign ever. A certain Hunger games theme shines through the ad. I love. It's almost as if Elle is playing Prim in the heart of a forbidden forest. Ha!

The three minute clip was directed and edited by Yoann Lemoine, the guy behind music videos for Taylor Swift's "Back to December," Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," and Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans." So you know for sure that your precious three minutes of your life, which you will never get back, is in good hands. Elle manages to somehow weave in 10000000 emotions into the advert, god knows how. But that is what makes it one of the best perfume ads I have seen so far! Watch

How to: Denim on Denim

Just a few years back, if you were spotted sporting head to toe denim, I assure you, eyebrows would be quick to soar like para glides. But what was once a fashion faux pas, has slowly devolped itself into a now chic sartorial trend.I love the whole feel of a head to toe denim ensemble, especially when it incorporates a chambray shirt! It also seamlessly weaves itself into layering, which is another trend I love for fall this year. No doubt, you're efforts will equal nought.

A lot of people think that your shades of blue have to match. But they don't! Personally, I love pairing different washes of denim together. I think two-toned looks are more interesting and a cool spin on the trend...Be careful though, do not over board on different washes...I would keep it to a maximum of three!

Pairing distressed cuts with cleaner pieces is another way you could choose to sport the trend. It simply screams sugar and spice - j'adore j'adore j'adore!

Went out for a lovely brunch and now I am helping my sister and dad pack because there are going away for 3 days *PARTY*...hahaha, no I'm only joking :') Here are some pictures from today...I really need to go out and buy dresses that are not black...I mean I do have other coloured dresses, but I don't know why I keep wearing my black ones...hahahaha! On non school uniform day, my french teacher called me a 'little goth' hahahah :) but I was wearing a brown belt...so was not all black and today I wore a cream cardigan and cream shoes!

I hope you all you have a fab day!

Meydan!

Yesterday night I went for an absolutely delicious meal at the meydan racecourse! I went with my family for my mum and dad's anniversary :') The food was scrumptious (no joke) and so was the actual restaurant, would love to come back here for the horse racing season. The restaurant was empty and very posh ha! Would love to come back and see it teeming with commotion, but it would be a little strange! I had a cheesy onion soup, pasta and lemon tart. Yummmm in my tummm.

London College of Fashion: short course

Unbelievably excited right now! A few days ago, I entered a Topshop competition to win a place at a short course held by London College of Fashion and....well, I won!

The course will take place in January, and all of you can come to by simply signing up here. (The courses are 18+) The prices and date&times will all be there, so you can come and share the experience with me! To be honest, I have been eyeing LCF for a long time now, and I really want to go there when I am older! Perhaps I may take another course when I am back home in summer (England).

If you are under 18 and wish to partake in the programme, there is a course for 15-18 year olds called 'Your future in fashion'. It will commence most probably in January also so please come along to that if you are eligible.

Hugs and more hugs!

What is this? I am supposed to be keeping to my word....and blog everyday... but I have been very naughty lately and have not kept to my word! I have a lot to say... so brace yourself, I actually have a lot to say.

Apart from my never endless supply of homework and revision. I have been busy cleaning my room everyday...EVERY DAY. It's horrible. I may as well be a maid...I am planning on redecorating my room hahahah! So am going to force my friends to go out hunting for new bedding and paint soon.

I have decided what I want to be when I am older! I want to live in France and be a florist (part time) and have my own flower shop. I also want to look after finances for Chanel and write articles for French Vogue...and hopefully one day I can be editor for French Vogue (one day....) J'adore les francaisssess! et le tarte de citron surtout beaucoup!

hmmmm.....school is fun...ish... I mean j'adore french and english and arabic and drama...math and science I do try my best but bleugh...je deteste.

In drama we have to go see the play women in black...hahaha, i am not that excited. I really am not.

So how is life for all you petite poissons? This post was a bit of a ramble I know....but it is only because I felt the need as I have not posted in like a week!

Behind this face: Louisa Northcrote's interview

Behind this face is a a project which is trying to create awareness about the truth on models - how they are just normal people with friends, families, feelings and they aren't at all plastic or fake. They are just like us with hopes and dreams.

My favourite blogger in the entire world, vintagerunways (Louisa Northcrote) was recently interviewed for Behind the face. Please go and watch her interview because I love it and it is very interesting! You can watch it here on Behind the face's facebook page. Please also have a look at Louisa's blog. I think it is fab and I think that you should definitely be following her. She is so beautiful and has an amazing eye for fashion. Her blog is really different from any of the other blogs I have ever read and I hope I can to one day own a blog which is original and different.

Please also check out Hayla's blog. She has recently been made editor of Behind the face's site and she wrote and article about Louisa on the site!
