Loving all things gold!

Many have noticed my uncontrollable urge for all things gold and sparkly. So, like a moth to a flame, it is no wonder that gold jumpers have captured my heart and always make me whimper as I stroll past designer shops selling delicious pieces that I simply cannot afford...

I have fallen deeply, madly in love with gold clothing this year. Weird, as I used to HATE gold as a child...There's just something so dashing about it that I absolutely adore for daytime wear. It exudes an air of practical elegance, which I absolutely love. Not only is it a universally flattering colour, it also lends a romantic feel for winter.

New editor for behind this face!

I am the newest editor for behind this face!I have been regulary blogging about behind this face for months thus making me a huge fan of the site! I find it so interesting especially as my sister is a model; so you can probably imagine how absolutely thrilled I am to be made editor along side Hayla!  My first task was to rewrite the ''about'' section on the site, hopefully all has gone well and it might be up in a few days

Blooming flowers

Secret be told, I love having freshly cut flowers around my apartment. They simply add a gorgeous breath of fresh air to an otherwise stale space. I really enjoy putting together flower arrangements and I love popping to the florists and making arrangements myself, I find it super therapeutic and calming.

Buying flowers that are in season are cheaper, so be sure to know what blooms in your hemisphere before putting together your arrangement. In Dubai, roses and marigolds are in season right now so I'll be working those into the arrangements I'm putting together for Christmas!

 

Leather Leggings

I love a good glossy pair of leather leggings. In my opinion, leather leggings are just a bit more refreshing then a pair of skinnies (Don't get me twisted! I am still denim loving).They are also bang on target for autumn as well. I think that the contrast between a pair of leather leggings paired with very feminine pieces, adds just the right amount of edginess to any outfit. But the best part is, they are super simple to wear.

 Neutrals work best paired with dark  leggings because the toned-down colour scheme makes your silhouette appear thin and streamlined!

They can also be fab for spicing up your most comfortable outfit, which makes them perfect for running errands! I suggest pairing the leggings with a chambray top and a pair of killer ballet flats. And as the weather starts to gradually get cooler *haha!...only dubains would get this joke*,slip into some cute boots for added warmth *again haha!* Remember,when it comes down to wearing leather pieces, think less is more.

Saturday Favourites

I have just realised that I haven't done a Saturday Favourites post in two whole weeks! Just shows you how forgetful I am.

I'm starting school tomorrow after a whole one week glorious holiday, and I am certainly not excited I tell you.

This week a friend of mine wrote a poem. I am really passionate about writing; I thought the poem was absolutely brilliant!I personally, am crap at writing poems so instead I write stories (ha!);but after I read this sheer brilliance I got inspired and went off writing a poem which by the way was truly abysmal...But anyways here is my friend Jessie's poem: (follow her tumblr!)

I do not care how old and wise I get. I will never be too 'old' to read this book. It is pure genius;it still manages to make me laugh like a loon on potato chips. Best RomCom I have ever read!

Excitement!

I know this post is not fashion related AT ALL. However, I felt like writing today even if it is 11:37pm at night.But what do you expect, I mean I have eaten a whole tub of strawberry yogurt flavoured ice cream from London dairy!

 I have discovered something amazing. THEY SELL LUCKY CHARMS IN DUBAI!!! My life has suddenly gotten a purpose! ahhhh :D Will be forcing mum and dad to take me out shopping tomorrow! Being a cereal junkie...I am in heaven right now.

Reasons why I am not too excited, is because I still have maths revision to be cracking on and I also school is starting on Sunday...boooo! But on the brightside, I watched Pride and Prejudice for the first time two nights ago and I absolutely fell in love!! How have I never seen this sheer amazigness before?
